Festival season is here in Mendocino County and if you haven’t booked your accommodations for early May, you are going to want to do so as soon as possible because the Legendary Boonville Beer Festival is coming to the fairgrounds!
The festival is celebrating its 18th year and this one is sure to be one to remember. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, May 3rd and will benefit many Anderson Valley non-profit organizations and the California Small Brewers Association. The beer taps will be flowing all day from 1p.m. until 5 p.m. with music to enjoy until 6 p.m.
The Boonville Beer Festival is $40 presale and $55 at the gate. Non-drinking tickets are also available for all designated drivers for the low price of $5. This entry fee covers your cost of admission, provides you with a wristband (essential for you to maintain access to the Mendocino County Fairgrounds), a souvenir sampling glass and of course, all-you-can-drink samples!
This festival definitely lives up to its “legendary” name and is a great event for couples or a gathering of old friends. This is a 21 and over event which also makes it an awesome celebration if you are turning the iconic drinking age. What better way to celebrate your 21st birthday than in Northern California at a beer festival?
There will also be delicious Californian cuisine from local vendors for purchase as well as merchandise and various sundries. For tickets and more information, call 707-895-2337 ext. 40.
