Halloween is just around the corner, and there is plenty of spooky fun to be had on the Mendocino coast! Here at Cleone Gardens Inn we have some favorites for you to consider.
Haunted Hall of Horrors
Check out the 12th annual Haunted Hall of Horrors on October 27 and 28 from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm and October 31 from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm, hosted by The Fort Bragg Leo Youth Club! This is a high-tech, very scary haunted house! Therefore, it is not recommended for young children, and children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
This year, check out the new Escape Room Experience. For an additional $5 per person, teams of up to 5 people are trapped in a room and must solve clues in order to escape. Each night, the team that escapes the fastest will win a prize! This game is very intense and clues change several times per evening.
Tickets are $8-$15 and proceeds go to local anti-bullying programs, scholarships, youth activities and more.
Pumpkin Night at the Gardens
On October 28, head to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens for Pumpkin Night from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Go dressed in your Halloween best and enjoy an evening of carving gourds and painting pumpkins! Enjoy spooky games, haunting music, and fall treats. You can vote for your favorite pumpkin in the pumpkin contest, and you can even enter one of your own! Drop-off for the contest is between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm that day, and it is free to enter. Admission to Pumpkin Night is $10 for adults; children 16 and under get in free.
Make sure to book your room at Cleone Gardens Inn for a place to unwind after all of your frightful fun!
