Benefits of Taking a Vacation

As kids, being out of school and seeing nothing but weeks of freedom and sunshine was what we lived for. But it’s easy to forget that carefree feeling we used to get when we become working adults. We have heavy workloads, deadlines, meetings and so forth. Many working professionals have a minimum of vacation days to use during the year, but a lot don’t actually take them. Not only are vacations good for your health, but they may also help productivity at work as well.

Productivity improvesNot only are vacations good for your health, but they may also help productivity at work as well.

Research suggests that when high-level professionals take time off, they are significantly more productive than those who spend more time working. When professionals take vacation time, they tend to foster their creativity, reconnect with themselves and return to work fully refreshed and refocused. Vacations prolong the ability to think clearly, thus improving at  job responsibilities and overall performance.

Relationships improve

I think we can all agree that vacations make people happy. When we return from a vacation, our bonds with one another are strengthened because we feel better. Relationships are able to improve when people rest, reduce their stress levels and relax. When we don’t take vacations we tend to be cranky, irritable and feel much older, experiencing both physical and emotional pain more often.

Stress reduces

We all need time off from work and our regular schedules. Breaking our daily routines can help relieve stress, so not having any plans, getting more sleep and simply doing nothing helps us more than we think. Leave the worries that occupy our minds everyday behind when on vacation and your body will feel light and carefree again.

When you go on your next vacation, visit us at Cleone Gardens in Fort Bragg, CA. You’ll fall in love with our cozy hotel and lodging surrounded by lush garden landscapes. Reserve your room with us today so you can look forward to a relaxing vacation!

The pouring begins promptly at 11 a.m. and though the tasting is scheduled to go until 1:30 p.m., that’s only if the vendors don’t run out of chowder before then, so don’t miss out!

Then, of course, you’ll need something to wash it down with! For $12, you’ll be able to sample some of the tastiest craft brews Mendocino has to offer. Have a bit of a finer pallet? Just $35 pre-sale (or $40 day-of) will allow you to fill up your commemorative Mendo Whale wine glass as you walk around to various pouring stations throughout the charming Mendocino village.
