32nd Annual Winesong Event | Fort Bragg, CA

For more than three decades, this annual event has brought local residents, businesses and tourists together to the Fort Bragg area, not only to enjoy a bit of fun, but to raise money for a great cause.

Every year, the Mendocino Coast District Hospital, as well as the Diagnostic Imaging Center, Medical Evacuation Helipad, Out-Patient Surgical services and Emergency Department Equipment each benefit from this event. We absolutely love that it is not only a great opportunity to enjoy local culture and wines, but for everyone to help make a noticeable difference in the lives of the local community.

What You Can Expect

Whether you’re just visiting or you are a longstanding resident, be sure to bring your friends and family to the signature event to close out the summer. Not only will your participation give back to the community, but you can also spend time mingling with the great men and women who make this beautiful region the destination that it is today!

Start your weekend by attending the Winesong pre-event, A Pinot Noir Celebration: Meet the Winemakers, from 1-4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9.

Continue the fun Saturday, Sept. 10 by taking advantage of the live and silent auctions and wine and food tasting portions of the event, along with music and so much more.

As you walk through The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, where the big event will be held, enjoy breathtaking views as well as thousands of different plant life species. In the heart of the beautiful botanical gardens, you will find more than 50 vendors handing out samples from local breweries, wineries and regional chefs – a truly beautiful experience for all the senses!

If you haven’t, make sure you add it on your list of places to go this summer!

This annual event attracts visitors to Fort Bragg from all throughout the Pacific Northwest and abroad. It’s a fun event for people of all ages, so be sure to mark it on your calendar!

2016 Fort Bragg CA Events: World's Larges Salmon BBQ

Each year, The World’s Largest Salmon BBQ is held on the first Saturday in July. This year it falls on July 2, with festivities running from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the beautiful Noyo Harbor. It’s a finger-licking good time for kids and adults alike!

The best part is, it’s all for a great cause, as it funds the Salmon Restoration Association.

The SRA is non-profit organization made up of a group of fishermen, biologists and concerned businesses and community members who are dedicated to restoring the supply of salmon in Mendocino County, California. All of the proceeds from the event go toward improving the population of salmon on the Northern California coast.

The World’s Largest Salmon BBQ has become a nationally recognized event you might’ve even seen on the Food Network!

The annual event has been held for years in Fort Bragg and continues to grow in size year after year. With two tons of salmon, live music and good company, why stay at home July 2?

You can purchase your tickets in advance at the Harvest Market or online (up until 5 p.m. July 1). You can also purchase tickets at the door for $30, or $10 for children 12 and younger. Keep in mind, however, that dogs aren’t allowed in the dining area.

With such an incredible event drawing you into the Mendocino Coast so close to the 4th of July, we hope you’ll stick around for the long weekend!
