The Mendocino Coast Celebrates Dia De Los Muertos

“Come embrace life, death, family, community and the art of the ritual” is the statement defining the  Mendocino Coast’s 2013 Day of the Dead Celebration, which will run from October 4th through November 3rd. This Day of the Dead celebration, also known as Dia de los Muertos Festivities, has a schedule full of educational seminars, craft classes and free events.

The main goal of the festival is to provide education on the meaning and tradition behind the Day of the Dead Celebrations. Most of the festival’s events are free to the public and support local community organizations.
