Have you ever been to The World’s Largest Salmon BBQ?
If you haven’t, make sure you add it on your list of places to go this summer!
This annual event attracts visitors to Fort Bragg from all throughout the Pacific Northwest and abroad. It’s a fun event for people of all ages, so be sure to mark it on your calendar!
Each year, The World’s Largest Salmon BBQ is held on the first Saturday in July. This year it falls on July 2, with festivities running from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the beautiful Noyo Harbor. It’s a finger-licking good time for kids and adults alike!
The best part is, it’s all for a great cause, as it funds the Salmon Restoration Association.
The SRA is non-profit organization made up of a group of fishermen, biologists and concerned businesses and community members who are dedicated to restoring the supply of salmon in Mendocino County, California. All of the proceeds from the event go toward improving the population of salmon on the Northern California coast.
The World’s Largest Salmon BBQ has become a nationally recognized event you might’ve even seen on the Food Network!

The annual event has been held for years in Fort Bragg and continues to grow in size year after year. With two tons of salmon, live music and good company, why stay at home July 2?
You can purchase your tickets in advance at the Harvest Market or online (up until 5 p.m. July 1). You can also purchase tickets at the door for $30, or $10 for children 12 and younger. Keep in mind, however, that dogs aren’t allowed in the dining area.
With such an incredible event drawing you into the Mendocino Coast so close to the 4th of July, we hope you’ll stick around for the long weekend!
